Doctor Who is getting a new streaming home in the United States.
AMC+ has acquired streaming rights to most of the show’s 21st century run. Thirteen seasons, covering the ninth through thirteenth Doctors, will begin streaming on June 11.
The episodes span the series’ modern era from 2005 to 2022.
A Return to the AMC Networks Family
The move brings Doctor Who back to a familiar home.
BBC America, which is part of AMC Networks, carried the series in the United States from 2009 to 2022. Before that, the first few seasons aired on Sci Fi Channel, the network that later became Syfy.

Ncuti Gatwa Seasons Stay on Disney+
The AMC+ deal does not include the two most recent seasons of Doctor Who.
Those seasons were produced by the BBC with Disney and star Ncuti Gatwa as the Doctor. They will remain on Disney+ in the United States.
More Than 150 Episodes Join the Service
The AMC+ library will include more than 150 episodes of Doctor Who.
The collection features the Doctor as played by Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant, Matt Smith, Peter Capaldiand Jodie Whittaker.
Doctor Who will join a genre-heavy AMC+ lineup that includes The Walking Dead universe, Anne Rice’s Interview With the Vampire/The Vampire Lestat, Mayfair Witches, Talamasca: The Secret Order, Dark Winds, Mad Men, Orphan Black and Preacher.
