Creative Team Takes Shape
Jim Mickle and E.L. Katz will write and executive produce the series. Mickle will also direct. The show comes from 20th Television.
Michael Waldron and Adam Fasullo will executive produce through Anomaly Pictures, which has an overall deal at 20th Television. Adam Fishbach, Jeremy Platt, Linda Moran, and author Chris Condon will also executive produce.
Jacob Phillips will serve as co-executive producer.
A Neo-Noir Western With Crime at Its Core
That Texas Blood blends Western atmosphere with crime drama.
The series is built for fans of Yellowstone, Breaking Bad, and No Country for Old Men. It opens with the search for a casserole dish and moves into a dark, tense confrontation on Sheriff Joe Bob Coates’ 70th birthday.
That mix of small-town detail, crime, and dread helped define the comic’s appeal.
The Enfield Gang Massacre Expands the World
The Enfield Gang Massacre serves as a sister series to That Texas Blood.
The story takes place 150 years before the main series. It adds more gunslinging action and dark frontier drama to Condon and Phillips’ world.
Where Readers Can Catch Up
Readers can catch up on Condon and Phillips’ contemporary crime series through several trade paperbacks. The books are available now at bookstores, comic book shops, and digital platforms.
Available collections include That Texas Blood, Vol. 1- 3 and The Enfield Gang Massacre.
