Glitch Productions and Oni Press have launched a Kickstarter for MURDER DRONES: THE OFFICIAL GRAPHIC NOVEL. The book adapts Liam Vickers’ hit adult animated series. Since 2021, the Webby Award-winning show has earned more than 330 million views.
Writer Wyatt Kennedy (Nights, Marvel United) and artist Jo Mi-Gyeong (Eve, Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance) are bringing the story to comics for the first time. The 136-page hardcover comes from Oni Press. Backers can also grab Kickstarter-only editions. These include a hardcover with cover art by Alessio Zonno (I Heart Skullcrusher) and a paperback with cover art by Jo Mi-Gyeong.
The campaign features exclusive collectibles. Fans can get variant covers by Maddie C. (Invader Zim), Jarrett Williams (Rick and Morty vs. The Universe), and more. These covers pay tribute to horror classics like Carrie, Nightmare on Elm Street, and The Thing.
Other rewards include:
- Foil variant covers of issue #1, only on Kickstarter.
- A deluxe slipcase edition, signed by Wyatt Kennedy, with a foil-stamped, double-sided case.
- A “Fatal Error” Limited Edition, signed and featuring new art by Austin Baechle (Nacelleverse).
- A “Disassembly Drone” set with exclusive merch: a Camp 98.7 trucker hat, a limited metal variant of issue #1, an 18×24” print of Uzi’s conspiracy diagram, and new art by Andy Duggan (Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories).
- An “Absolute Solver” set with merch like a pine-and-oil scented candle, a silkscreened work jacket, all comic covers, an original 8×10” sketch by Brenda Hickey (My Little Pony), and art by Moss Lawton (Star Trek: Prodigy).

The story takes place on Copper 9, a frozen mining exoplanet abandoned by humanity. Worker drones try to rebuild society, but face two threats: disassembly drones—robotic predators known as Murder Drones—and a deadly computer virus called the Absolute Solver.
Murder Drones is now streaming worldwide on Prime Video. The series also fuels a new Hot Topic partnership that spans hundreds of stores. Glitch Productions has grown rapidly since launching in Australia eight years ago. Its YouTube channel now has over 16 million subscribers. Along with Murder Drones, the studio produces The Amazing Digital Circus, Knights of Guinevere, and The Gaslight District. Glitch’s content also streams on Netflix and Prime Video.
