New Line and Warner Bros.’ horror hit Weapons topped the Aug. 22–24 weekend with $15.6 million from 3,631 theaters. The film is in its third weekend and has now reached a global total of $199.4 million.

Overseas audiences added another $13.2 million, bringing its international haul to $83.5 million. Domestically, the film stands at $115.9 million.

Disney’s Freakier Friday kept the No. 2 spot. In its third weekend, the film earned $9.2 million from 3,675 locations. Its worldwide total has climbed to $112.3 million.

Among new releases, Focus Features’ Honey Don’t! opened in eighth place. The film pulled in $3 million from 1,300 locations. While this result met expectations, it’s still considered a weak start.

Directed by Ethan Coen, the movie stars Margaret Qualley and is based on a script he co-wrote with his wife, Tricia Cooke. The story follows a small-town private investigator unraveling a series of deaths tied to a mysterious church. Aubrey Plaza, Charlie Day, Billy Eichner, and Chris Evans round out the cast.

The top 12 movies of the weekend, as of Sunday, August 24, are as follows:
