Oni Press is venturing into the supernatural with Spirit of the Shadows #1. The five-part series launches January 28, 2026. It mixes superhero action with haunting horror from co-writers Nick Cagnetti (Pink Lemonade, XINO) and Daniel Ziegler (Elodie). The series marks Cagnetti’s first full-length artwork since his breakout hit Pink Lemonade in 2022.
From Musician to Monster
Erik Leroux once lived for his music and for his true love, Katrina. His sudden death ends both—and begins something far worse. Trapped in a twisted afterlife, Erik becomes a phantom with only flashes of memory. Cursed to wear the costume he died in, he fights his way through the Spirit World to uncover who killed him and why. His journey for revenge could also be his only path to redemption.
