The Massive-verse is popping off lately with a slew of exciting developments—chief among them is the seismic-event-level news that Ryan Parrott, Nick Cotton, and Abel’s Rogue Sun #30 will feature Todd McFarlane’s Medieval Spawn character prominently and hit shelves this October from Image Comics.
“There are certain moments in life that simply don’t feel real. I was a teenager when Image Comics was launched and I bought every single issue of every single book, but… Spawn was my favorite. The cape. The chains. The spikes. I even made my mom read it. So the fact that Todd MacFarlane is being so insanely generous and letting Medieval Spawn come play in the world of Rogue Sun for an issue… it’s absolutely surreal,” said Parrott. “I’d say it’s a dream come true but that would suggest I was arrogant enough to think this could ever happen.”
The Massive-Verse has even more to excite fans, though—a new Starter Pack (and the restock of the original Massive-verse collectible card game, too!) will also be available in October at local comic shops. In The Massive-Verse Fighting Card Game Starter Pack, fans can replay Radiant Black’s Catalyst War event when they duel one-on-one as Radiant Black and Premier—and with deeply asymmetrical character decks and simultaneous turns, it’s both strategic and lightning fast!
Rogue Sun #30 will be available at comic book shops and digital platforms on Wednesday, October 8.
