Dynamite Entertainment has unveiled Charles Band’s Puppet Master: Return to Bodega Bay Inn – The Board Game. The new release turns the cult horror film into a fast-paced tabletop experience. Fans can preorder now on Gamefound.
A Deadly Game of Cat and Mouse
Creator Charles Band worked closely with designer Jay Spence to bring the terror of Puppet Master to life. The cooperative survival game supports one to four players. Each session runs about 30 to 40 minutes.
Players explore the haunted Bodega Bay Inn, searching for clues and avoiding murderous puppets. The modular board changes with every session, keeping the action fresh. Each puppet has a unique behavior dial that drives its movements and attacks. Players must manage cards, lock doors, and collect information before the puppets can resurrect their master.
Packed with Miniatures and Features
The base game includes five detailed miniatures—Blade, Jester, Pinhead, Leech Woman, and Tunneler. Players can paint them for a personal touch. The set also includes modular board pieces, tokens, dice, and an evolving “A.I.” dial that simulates puppet behavior.
Expansion Adds More Mayhem
The Trial by Fire Expansion Set raises the stakes. It adds two new puppets—Torch and Six-Shooter—and allows a fifth player to join.
A New Chapter for a Horror Classic
This project continues Dynamite’s partnership with Band and Full Moon Features. It follows their Puppet Master trading card set, released to celebrate the franchise’s 35th anniversary. Together, they’re expanding the brand into comics, collectibles, and now board games.
