Twenty-five years after leaving the Shire, the four Hobbits are coming back together. In 2026, Sean Astin, Billy Boyd, Dominic Monaghan, and Elijah Wood will reunite with fans for An Evening with the Hobbits: In Celebration of 25 Years. The tour will visit 11 FAN EXPO HQ shows across North America, starting in New Orleans on January 10, 2026.
A Celebration Fit for the Shire
This isn’t just a reunion or a panel. An Evening with the Hobbits is part variety show, part storytelling, and all fun. Each event will feature behind-the-scenes stories, on-stage antics, heartfelt moments, and plenty of laughter. Fans can expect surprises, inside jokes, and the same friendship that made the Fellowship legendary. No two nights will be alike.

At a recent FAN EXPO event, Elijah Wood reflected on the milestone. “To be celebrating this – a quarter of a century – feels abstract,” he said. “It still feels like the films are so present. Spending time with fans keeps it fresh. It’s still a massive part of our lives.”
Tickets and Exclusive Extras
Tickets for An Evening with the Hobbits at FAN EXPO New Orleans go on sale October 22 at 10 AM CT at fanexponeworleans.com. Admission to FAN EXPO New Orleans is required. VIP packages will include exclusive photo ops and autograph sessions. Fans can also look forward to limited-edition merchandise and collectibles at each stop.
Organizers hint at more surprises ahead, including special Lord of the Rings guest appearances and anniversary programming throughout 2026.
