Pottermore Publishing and Audible are teaming up to bring fans a brand-new way to experience the Harry Potter series—through full-cast audio editions. These new versions of all seven books by J.K. Rowling will include sound effects, original music, and performances by a star-studded cast, all presented in high-quality Dolby Atmos sound.
The first book, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, will be released on November 4, 2025. The remaining six books will be released one per month through May 2026. You can pre-order them now.

Young actors Frankie Treadaway, Max Lester, and Arabella Stanton will play Harry, Ron, and Hermione in the first three books. From book four onward, Jaxon Knopf, Rhys Mulligan, and Nina Barker-Francis will take over those roles.

What the Creators Are Saying
Hugh Laurie, who plays Dumbledore, said he’s honored to join the legacy of actors who have brought the character to life, including Richard Harris, Michael Gambon, Jude Law, and audiobook narrators Jim Dale and Stephen Fry.
Rachel Ghiazza, Audible’s Chief Content Officer, said the recordings bring the magic to life and will excite both longtime fans and new listeners.
Neil Blair, Chairman of Pottermore Publishing, called it a groundbreaking way to experience the wizarding world and hopes it will introduce a new generation of kids to the books.
More for Harry Potter Fans
These new full-cast editions will not replace the classic single-narrator versions by Jim Dale and Stephen Fry, which will still be available and have already been listened to for over 1.8 billion hours.
They also join Audible’s other big productions, like 1984, Pride and Prejudice, and Oliver Twist, featuring major actors and creators.
In addition to the main books, Audible also offers other Wizarding World audiobooks like:
- The Tales of Beedle the Bard (performed by Jason Isaacs, Warwick Davis, Jude Law, and more)
- Quidditch Through the Ages (read by Andrew Lincoln)
- Harry Potter: A History of Magic (performed by Natalie Dormer)
- Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (read by Eddie Redmayne)
Get ready to re-experience the magic like never before—with your ears.
