The New York Times bestselling writer Warren Ellis is teaming with Grammy-nominated artist and designer Lordess Foudre for Ghost Drive Station. The new graphic novella will explore death, technology, and the digital age when it arrives from Image Comics this November.

A Mystery in the Desert
Ghost Drive Station begins on the anniversary of the worst thing that ever happened to its central character. A haunted investigator with little patience for the modern world is sent to a remote research station in the desert after the facility suddenly goes offline.
His assignment quickly becomes more dangerous than expected. Inside the station, he discovers an experiment in immortality that has gone horribly wrong.
The consequences reach far beyond the isolated facility. The stakes become both global and deeply personal for the investigator at the center of the story.
Crime Thriller Meets Cosmic Horror
The graphic novella centers on a complicated protagonist who feels pulled from the first season of True Detective. That crime-thriller atmosphere soon gives way to cosmic terror reminiscent of Event Horizon and Backrooms.
The combination places a grounded investigator inside a story built around technology, mortality, and the consequences of trying to escape death. Ghost Drive Station uses that mystery to examine what immortality could mean in an increasingly digital world.
Ghost Drive Station Arrives in November
Ghost Drive Station will be available at comic book shops and on digital platforms on Wednesday, November 18. The graphic novella brings Warren Ellis and Lordess Foudre together for a new science-fiction horror story from Image Comics.
