Dynamite Entertainment is bringing fans one of its biggest releases of the year. Gargoyles / Fantastic Four arrives this November from Greg Weisman and George Kambadais.
First teased in May 2025, the crossover unites two legendary families of comics and animation. The result is a fast-paced story filled with danger, action, and adventure.
The Manhattan Clan tours the world-famous Baxter Building, home of the Fantastic Four. But the visit quickly turns deadly. Coldsteel and Dragon Man join forces. Together, they unleash the terrifying power of Annihilus. In the chaos, Franklin, Valeria, and Gnash are trapped in the Negative Zone.
The extended families must join together. Their mission: save their children, protect their city, and stop the world from being destroyed. This is the first major crossover in Gargoyles history, and fans will see stone guardians fighting alongside Marvel’s first family.
“What could be better for Gargoyles’ first crossover than meeting the first family of the Marvel Universe?” said writer Greg Weisman. “Gotta love shared values and super-villains. Plus, Mole Man!”
The creative team is stacked with talent. Greg Weisman, creator of Gargoyles, has been telling their stories for decades, most recently with Dynamite since 2022. Artist George Kambadais brings a modern vision that respects the cartoon roots and blends perfectly with the Fantastic Four’s world. Letterer Jeff Eckleberry completes the team.
The issue packs 30 story pages to bring Weisman’s tale to life. Fans can also collect a range of striking covers. Amanda Conner returns to Gargoyles, the series that helped launch her career. Mark Bagley, a veteran Fantastic Four artist, contributes as well. Additional covers come from Lucio Parrillo, Declan Shalvey, and Nicoletta Baldari.
This is more than a crossover. It’s a historic event uniting timeless heroes from two beloved universes.
