Andrew MacLean returns with a new action series. The Head Lopper creator teams with Space Riders artist Alexis Ziritt on Death Fight Forever, a five issue miniseries arriving February 2026 from Image Comics.
Crash and Bash Enter the Fight
The comic follows Crash and Bash Biggle. The bruiser brothers work as super thieves. They jump into a mission to help Commander Thunderfang stop Lord Slyther, an interdimensional crime boss. The plan unravels fast. The brothers cross paths with Marla Mendoza, leader of the COPZ gang and Slyther’s strongest ally. The encounter sends Bash down a new path and alters his life forever.
Built From Arcade Roots
MacLean says the idea comes from classic beat ‘em up games. “Death Fight Forever was born from a love of ’90s beat ‘em up video games and a desire to write a comic that highlights some of the coolest art styles of our time,” he says.
Pure Retro Mayhem
The book leans into retro arcade style. It delivers nonstop fights, hard hits, and bold visuals. Image calls it a wild blast of action that belongs on every pull list.
Death Fight Forever #1 arrives in comic shops on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.
