Eisner Award-nominated cartoonist Kyle Starks (Peacemaker Tries Hard, Sexcastle, I Hate This Place) is back with a new series. He teams up with colorist Vladimir Popov (Where Monsters Lie, Fearscape) for Wrestle Heist. The five-issue miniseries from Image Comics launches this December.
Wrestle Heist follows a former pro wrestler who nearly dies because of a crooked promoter. He decides to get even. To do it, he gathers a team of wrestlers he once betrayed. Their goal is simple: rob the promoter during the biggest wrestling event of the year. The story is full of body slams, betrayals, and nonstop action.
“I am so excited to return to Image Comics, the place where all my Eisner nominations happened, with my new book Wrestle Heist,” said Starks. “It’s perfect for fans of wrestling, fans of heists, or anyone who wants to have a great time reading a comic. Comics should be fun, and I promise this one is a wild ride you won’t want to miss.”
Wrestle Heist #1 by Kyle Starks will be available at comic book shops and digital platforms on Wednesday, December 17.
