The Boys Marks 20 Years With New Omnibus Collection

The Boys 20th Anniversary

Fans of The Boys have a new way to celebrate the franchise’s 20th anniversary. A complete set of paperback omnibuses is now available, timed to the release of the fifth and final season of the hit series on Amazon Prime Video. The collection is offered at a discounted rate through Kickstarter, along with a range of exclusive extras.

From Controversial Debut to Cultural Mainstay

Created by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, The Boys debuted in 2006 and quickly drew attention for its bold take on superhero culture. The series built a reputation for pushing boundaries and challenging genre norms. Dynamite Entertainment later took over publication and expanded the story across nearly 100 issues and multiple companion miniseries.

Over time, the title became one of the most recognized satires of the superhero genre. The franchise reached a wider audience with the television adaptation developed by Eric Kripke. The series stars Karl Urban, Antony Starr, Jack Quaid, Erin Moriarty, and Jensen Ackles.

Six-Volume Omnibus Set

The anniversary release includes six paperback omnibus volumes. Each book features updated packaging designed to mark the milestone. The collection compiles the full story into large-format editions that serve both new readers and longtime fans.

Kickstarter Exclusives and Signed Editions

Each omnibus volume is available individually or as part of a complete set on Kickstarter. Signed editions include signatures from both Ennis and Robertson. Fans who purchase the full set receive a bonus item, a The Boys #1 holofoil variant that is typically valued at $100.

Additional Collectibles and Variants

The campaign also features a range of collectible options. A new mystery blind bag includes three limited-edition variant covers from key issues. These variants feature enhancements such as foil finishes and logo-free designs. Collectors can also purchase metal editions of The Boys #1 and #3.

Artist Ken Haeser is contributing original sketch covers featuring main characters from the series. These one-of-a-kind pieces are designed for collectors seeking unique artwork.

Limited-Time Campaign

The Kickstarter campaign runs for just over a month and aligns with the release of The Boys Season 5. The anniversary collection highlights the franchise’s lasting impact and offers fans a chance to revisit the original comics as the television series reaches its conclusion.
