A Creative Reunion
“This is the most excited I’ve been about a project in a while,” said Felipe Sobreiro. “Not only because I love working with Justin and John, but because the world of Malevolent is so fun and full of possibilities. I think people will really enjoy what we have in store.”
Artist John Bivens shared his excitement about the reunion. “I’ve been trying to get Justin and Felipe to work with me again since the end of Spread! Being annoyingly persistent — and maybe finding a way around their spam blockers — finally paid off. Now we’re making something awesome!”
Writer Justin Jordan promises chaos. “Malevolent is pure mayhem and monsters,” he said. “It’s been awesome working with John and Felipe to try and out-crazy our last comic. I think we just about managed it.”
Malevolent begins its terrifying run in January from Image Comics.
Malevolent #1 will be available at comic book shops and digital platforms on Wednesday, January 28.
