The Nacelle Company, Oni Press, and Rebellion have launched a new publishing and merchandising partnership. The collaboration begins with JUDGE DREDD / BIKER MICE FROM MARS #1, a two-issue comic book crossover arriving in December 2026.

The series throws the 22nd century’s most feared lawman into battle with mutant outlaws. The deluxe-format event will run across two 40-page issues.

Dan Watters, known for M.A.S.K. and Batman: Dark Patterns, will co-write the series with Ryan O’Sullivan, known for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War. Artist Jordi Tarragona, known for Injustice: Gods Among Us, will draw the crossover.

A New Toy Line Joins the Comic Launch

The comic also kicks off a new merchandising deal between Rebellion and The Nacelle Company. Nacelle’s Consumer Product division will develop a new line of detailed action figures and collectibles.

The figures will feature crossover versions of The Biker Mice From Mars and Judge Dredd characters. Nacelle will open pre-orders for the first wave this fall and release the figures online and in stores in 2027.

Comic-Con Fans Can Join the Promotion

Nacelle, Oni Press, and Rebellion will celebrate the partnership at Comic-Con International 2026 in San Diego, CA. The promotion begins Thursday, July 23rd.

Fans can visit the Rebellion booth, #2121, and collect a free Mega-City One parking ticket. The ticket will carry an official Department of Justice stamp.

Fans must then take the ticket to The Nacelle Company booth, #2547, and the Oni Press booth, #1829, to get it stamped again in sequence. Those who complete the sequence will avoid the death penalty and receive one of 500 limited-edition JUDGE DREDD / BIKER MICE FROM MARS art prints.

The print features upcoming cover art by Eisner Award-winning artist David Finch. Finch is known for Batman and Skinbreaker.

Oni Press Praises the Crossover

Oni Press President and Publisher Hunter Gorinson praised the partnership and the creative team. “It’s truly a thrill to be walking the streets of Mega-City One with our amazing partners at Rebellion and the Nacelle Company. The amount of love and fervor for Judge Dredd and the iconic legacy of 2000 AD that flows through both Oni and Nacelle is palpable, and, thanks to the huge talents of Dan Watters, Ryan O’Sullivan, and Jordi Tarragona, we’re excited to give fans the 22nd century’s first truly great comic event,” said Gorinson.

Nacelle CEO Brian Volk-Weiss also celebrated the announcement. “I’ve been a massive fan of Judge Dredd for at least 35 years and when Hunter suggested this collab, I warned him that he better not be punking me,” said Volk-Weiss. “Being able to play in the Mega-City One sandbox is beyond a dream come true!”

The Biker Mice Ride Into Mega-City One

The story sends Limburger and Karbunkle across space-time in search of a new world to plunder. They set their sights on Mega-City One, the massive, smog-filled metropolis ruled by brutal law and constant chaos.

Throttle, Vinnie, and Modo refuse to let them take it. The extraterrestrial anti-heroes known as the Biker Mice From Mars race into action to stop their latest cross-dimensional conquest.

The fight strands the Martian brothers and their bikes inside Mega-City One. Around them, 400 million citizens want them dead.

Judge Dredd wants them brought to justice. He will not let mutant outlaws tear through his city without consequences.

But the fight grows even more dangerous when the Biker Mice’s otherworldly abilities draw the attention of Judge Death. The inhuman entity pulls man and mouse alike into the crosshairs.

The crossover marks the first BIKER MICE FROM MARS crossover outside the NacelleVerse. It also launches the characters into one of comics’ most violent future worlds.

Rebellion Promises Full-Throttle Action

Ben Smith, Head of Publishing for Rebellion, said the crossover fits Judge Dredd’s world perfectly. “Mutants and mayhem are two of the founding pillars of Judge Dredd’s world, so when Oni and Nacelle approached us about a crossover with the Biker Mice From Mars we knew this would be exactly our kind of Thrillpower,” said Smith. “The Biker Mice From Mars are the perfect fit for Dredd’s radical, radioactive vision of the future, and this is going to be a revved-up, all-action spectacular for fans. To take this crossover off the page into a new toy range is next level exciting. Rebellion and 2000 AD are delighted to bring this new partnership with our new partners Oni Press and Nacelle into fifth gear.”

Two Pop Culture Worlds Collide

John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra created Judge Dredd. The character first appeared in 2000 AD in 1977 and has enforced the law in Mega-City One ever since.

Dredd has battled Batman, Aliens, and Predator across his nearly 50-year history. Now he faces Throttle, Vinnie, and Modo for the first time.

The Biker Mice From Mars first appeared in 1993. Since then, the characters have built a strong following among fans and collectors.

The franchise will also return in a new animated series in 2027. Executive producers include Brian Volk-Weiss, Ryan Reynolds, George Dewey, Matt Kravitsky, and Kevin Hill.

The Biker Mice have already headlined multiple new comic series from Oni Press. This new crossover now sends them into the dangerous world of Judge Dredd.

JUDGE DREDD / BIKER MICE FROM MARS #1 arrives in comic shops worldwide in December 2026. The issue will feature covers by David Finch, known for Batman, Karl Kerschl, known for The Flash, and Andrew Krahnke, known for G.I. Joe, with more covers still to be revealed.
