Skybound Entertainment announced several licensing deals for its tentpole intellectual property, Invincible, that span tabletop games, merchandise, and collectibles, following the resounding success of the series’ second season, which is “100% Certified Fresh” on Rotten Tomatoes.
Since 2021 when the critically acclaimed adult animated show debuted on Prime Video, Skybound’s licensing program has skyrocketed, encompassing a diverse array of products including apparel, toys and collectibles, tabletop games, gaming, stationery, and more. VP of Licensing Garima Sharma has been integral to forging partnerships with over a dozen US and international merchandise and collectible companies, including Funko, Diamond Select Toys, Good Smile Company, YouTooz, and Mighty Jaxx, solidifying Skybound’s presence in the global market. Beyond its iconic franchises, Skybound’s diverse portfolio of IP continues to evolve, and new licensing agreements centered around its rich comic book catalog are soon to be announced.
In addition to Invincible, Skybound continues to innovate and engage fans with its flagship property, The Walking Dead. With an extensive lineup of toys, collectibles, tabletop games, and ongoing video game partnerships, including projects with Skydance and Telltale Games, the franchise remains a cornerstone of the entertainment industry.
“On the licensing side, we are as busy as ever. We have toys and collectibles, as well as tabletop gaming deals with FanRoll, Diamond Select Toys, Buzz Bee Toys, Gamelyn Games, Button Shy Games, and Mantic Games, with a couple more in the pipeline,” said Sharma. “We’re actively looking for more partnerships beyond The Walking Dead and Invincible and welcome any new conversations!”
