Skybound and Image Comics unveil a full publishing slate for Invincible Month, a month-long celebration of the comic series that launched the franchise. The event arrives in March 2026 and coincides with the debut of season four of the hit animated series on Prime Video.

The rollout features new issues, long-requested reprints, and major collections. Fans can revisit the origins of Invinciblewhile exploring key moments across the Invincible Universe.

A Lineup Built for New and Returning Readers

Invincible Month offerings span the franchise’s history. Releases include Invincible #1 Foil Edition, Marvel Team-Up #14, Invincible Universe: Battle Beast #7, Invincible Returns #1 Facsimile Edition, Capes #5, Invincible Vol. 14 New Edition, and Invincible Omnibus Vol. 1.

Together, the slate targets longtime fans and first-time readers looking to experience the full scope of the series.

Kirkman Reacts to the Milestone

“I can’t believe Invincible has grown to the point where it gets its own month,” said Robert Kirkman. “Cory, Ryan, and I could never have imagined how much this series would grow over the years. It’s so amazing to celebrate our series in comic shops alongside the debut of the hit television show. Keep your eye out for bigger and better things to come.”

March 4 Kicks Things Off With a Historic Team-Up

Invincible Month begins March 4 with the release of Marvel Team-Up #14. The issue marks the first meeting between Invincible and Spider-Man and remains one of the most sought-after modern comics.

The issue comes from writer Robert Kirkman, artist Cory Walker, and colorist Dave McCaig. Variant covers feature artwork by Todd McFarlane, Erik Larsen, Ryan Ottley, Mark Bagley, and Alex Saviuk.

Also arriving March 4 is Invincible Vol. 14 New Edition. The collection gathers issues #79–84 in a reader-friendly format with a new cover by Walker and McCaig.

March 11 Brings the Beginning Back to Print

Invincible #1 Foil Edition lands in comic shops on March 11. The special release reprints the groundbreaking first issue and includes the first appearances of Invincible, Omni-Man, and more.

Battle Beast Returns on March 18

The action escalates March 18 with Invincible Universe: Battle Beast #7. The issue launches the second story arc from co-creator and writer Robert Kirkman and co-creator and artist Ryan Ottley.

Battle Beast faces the most dangerous enemies of his life as the Viltrum Empire approaches. The issue features a main cover by Ryan Ottley and Annalisa Leoni, with variants by Todd McFarlane, Chris Burnham and Brian Reber, Rossi Gifford, Edwin Galmon, and Matthew Roberts.

Thragg Arrives as Invincible Month Nears Its End

Invincible Month continues March 25 with Invincible Returns #1 Facsimile Edition. The reprint features the first appearance of Thragg, who debuts in season four of the animated series.

Set after the Invincible War and the battle with Conquest, the issue bridges the story into the opening of the Viltrumite War and serves as an accessible jumping-on point for new readers.

Also on March 25, Capes #5 returns to comic shops. The issue receives a special remaster with new art and updated dialogue from creators Robert Kirkman and Mark Englert. Reprinted for the first time in over 20 years, the story centers on an all-out war between Capes, Inc. and Chronodile.

The Celebration Continues Into April

The rollout concludes April 1 with the release of Invincible Omnibus Vol. 1 HC. The hardcover collects issues #0–47 of the series by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, along with Marvel Team-Up #14 included for the first time.

Priced at $125, the omnibus fulfills years of fan demand and offers a complete introduction to the Invincible saga. It stands as a definitive collection for readers ready to experience the series from the very beginning.
