Dynamite Entertainment’s new juvenile imprint, Dynamite Kids, is putting out brand new exciting stories and interactive formats for young readers as well as working with top licenses in the space. The publisher is excited to announce an addition to the expanding line with two books releasing this spring and summer featuring the beloved show Blue’s Clues & You!
It’s Puppet Time with Blue! is scheduled to release this May. The softcover activity book, written by Jane Kent, provides kids ages 4 and up with hours of hands-on play. From Blue and Magenta, to Mailbox and Tickety Tock, little ones (and their favorite adult helpers!) will love making puppets with common household materials like paper, tissue rolls, socks, and felt. Later in the year in August, Dynamite Kids invites fans to relax with some summer fun in Blue’s Beach Bonanza. This novelty board book features several full color scenes of the show’s adorable cast enjoying the sand, surf, and sun. Hit the beach with the pups and use the book’s pop-out play pieces across each fun spread. This book will be a fun one to take with the family to the beach, or a way to think about all the fun it offers while at home.
The original Blue’s Clues ran for a decade from the 1990s into the 2000s, helping to educate and inspire an entire generation of children. Since 2019, the Blue’s Clues & You! revival has brought back that same energy and unique format mixing animation with live action. With built in moments of silence meant for a call-and-response interaction for preschoolers to play along with the show, its fan-favorite characters and world are a gem for so many children as well as their parents nowadays!
