Dynamite Entertainment and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products are preparing a major new chapter for Ben 10. Following October’s Creator Files special, the comic series will launch its next major story arc with Ben 10 #6 in November.
Joe Casey returns to write the series after scripting its opening three issues and establishing Ben Tennyson’s origin. His return follows Steven Seagle’s arc featuring Zombozo and marks the beginning of a new phase for the title.
Joe Casey Returns for a New Arc
The new storyline will push Ben and the Omnitrix into dangerous territory. Grandpa Max decides to put both Ben and his mysterious powers through their most demanding test yet.
The experiment is designed to uncover what the Omnitrix can truly do. Instead, the results become catastrophic and bring Ben face to face with one of his most iconic villains for the first time.
Interior artist Robert Carey has created the design for the new threat. Fans will get an early look at the character in the upcoming Creator Files, although Dynamite is keeping the villain’s identity secret for now.
“It’s great to be home again!,” said writer Joe Casey. “And this time around, Robert Carey and I are kicking things up to a whole other level. We’re introducing a major new villain to the series and raising the dramatic stakes at the same time. Not to mention, we’ve still got more aliens to see in action! To all the loyal Ben 10 fans out there, trust us, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet!”
Issue #6 Includes a Bonus Poster
Ben 10 #6 will also give readers an extra collectible. The issue includes a free bonus poster featuring exclusive artwork from franchise co-creator Duncan Rouleau.
The poster will be available with covers A through F through a polybag and will also appear in the Premium Mystery Blind Bag. Rouleau’s artwork highlights characters and storylines that have already appeared while offering hints about several upcoming arcs.
Those future stories will include Rouleau’s own contributions to the series beyond his cover work. Dynamite is also hiding one key character from the poster in its promotional materials, leaving readers to discover the identity when the issue arrives.
Cover Artists Return for the New Issue
The series’ continuing group of cover artists will return for the November release. Robert Carey and Duncan Rouleau will provide covers in addition to their other work on the issue.
Dustin Nguyen, Sebastian Piriz and Eric Canete will also contribute covers. Together, the artists will provide several options for readers as the comic enters its next major storyline.
More ‘Ben 10’ Releases Arrive in November
November will also bring the first collected editions of the new Ben 10 series. Dynamite plans to reveal full details about those releases separately.
With Casey back on writing duties, a major villain preparing to make his debut and new aliens still waiting to enter the action, Ben 10 #6 sets the stage for the series’ next phase. The issue arrives as Dynamite and the Man of Action team continue expanding their take on the long-running franchise.
