Writer and artist Liam Sharp is heading back to his acclaimed StarHenge universe with a new sci-fi and fantasy miniseries. StarHenge Book Two: A Kiss for Atticus launches this July from Image Comics.
The four-issue series continues the time-spanning saga that earned Eisner Award recognition. It pushes the story into new territory while building on the ambitious world Sharp introduced in the first installment.
A New Chapter in a Time-Bending Saga
The story follows Amber, Daryl, and Merlin as they awaken in unfamiliar yet oddly recognizable realms. They have no clear memory of how they arrived or even who they are.
As the mystery deepens, the trio must reconnect and uncover the truth behind their strange captivity. The series leans into the franchise’s signature blend of fantasy, science fiction, and layered storytelling.
Variant Covers from Top Artists
The debut issue will feature a range of variant covers from a strong lineup of artists. Contributors include Mike Perkins, Barry Kitson, Tony Parker, Ben Stone, and Matylda McCormack-Sharp.
These alternate covers add collectible appeal and showcase different visual takes on the evolving series.
Sharp on the Meaning Behind StarHenge
Sharp says the series goes beyond its genre roots. It reflects both the craft of comics and the creative process itself.
“StarHenge has always been more than just a time-and-realm-hopping fantasy series,” said Sharp. “It’s about creativity, the medium of comics, and telling stories. But it’s also about finding our way when we feel lost.”
StarHenge Book Two: A Kiss for Atticus #1 arrives in comic shops on Wednesday, July 1.
