Writer and artist Guillem March is returning as a solo creator with Ofiusa, a new romantic thriller from Image Comics.
The six-issue miniseries launches this September. March is known for his work on Batman, The Joker, Catwoman, and Karmen.
A Love Triangle With Dark Secrets
Ofiusa follows Mar and Joan as their romance takes off quickly. Mar is irresistible. Joan is a young entrepreneur pulled into a relationship that feels passionate from the start.
In another timeline, Joan meets Isla, an enigmatic woman on a paradise island. The story builds a love triangle where every character hides something.
As the mystery unfolds, a dark secret from the past waits to surface.
Romance, Seduction, and Suspense
March blends lush artwork with a story about desire, truth, and emotional risk. Ofiusa presents paradise as both beautiful and dangerous.
The series leaves room for romance, seduction, and discovery. But readers should be careful when diving into the waters of Ofiusa.
Guillem March on the Project
“With Ofiusa, I’ve created the kind of comic I enjoy reading as a fan,” said March. “I love the personal projects of creators with a unique voice. They might be a bit risky or outside the mainstream, and they’re certainly not for readers looking for more conventional comics, but they exude soul and a love for a job well done. Ofiusa has taken many years of work, and it’s a bit dizzying to think it’s finally seeing the light of day, but it’s the comic I’m most proud of to date.”
Variant Covers and Release Details
Ofiusa will feature additional variant covers by March. The lineup includes a Raw Art variant, a blank sketch variant, and a NSFW polybagged variant.
Ofiusa #1 arrives at comic book shops on Wednesday, September 16. The series will also be available across many digital platforms.
