Bryan Singer has re-teamed with screenwriter Christopher McQuarrie, who previously worked with Singer on The Usual Suspects and Valkyrie, to write a new draft of his latest film, Jack the Giant Killer. According to the Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision blog, McQuarrie is working diligently to update the script, which has already passed through the hands of scribes Mark Bomback and Darren Lemke.
This take on the classic fairy tale revolves around a young farmer, who is given the chance to lead a dangerous expedition into the kingdom of the giants to rescue a kidnapped princess and thwart a possible war between men and the giants.
Casting on the film is set to begin shortly, with the film to shoot this summer in England.
