Twilight fans can breathe a sigh of relief. Both Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene are reprising the roles of Emmet and Alice Cullen in the last (still possibly two) films of the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the deals were signed last night after a week of tense negotiations and both actors will see about $1.25 million for each of the final films. Supposedly the two were looking for between 2 and 4 million per film (according to the many sources out there), it is definitely a big increase from what they received for the first three films.
At this time, director Bill Condon is on board for two films, and deals with the other cast members are in their final negotiations, so expect an official announcement from Summit Entertainment regarding whether or not Stephanie Meyer’s fourth Twilight book, Breaking Dawn, will be broken up into one or two films. Shooting is set to begin this fall with a script by Melissa Rosenberg.
The third film in the franchise, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse premieres at the Los Angeles Film Festival June 24 at the Nokia Theatre and will be released nationally June 30.
