January Jones Joins Huge X-Men: First Class Cast

Vaughn_X-Men_First_ClassSeems that every day there is news about another actor joining the cast of X-Men: First Class. According to Deadline, five more roles have been filled. January Jones has signed on to play Emma Frost, as well as Zoe Kravitz who will play Angel and Jason Flemyng will be Nightcrawler’s father, Azazel. Bill Milner will be Magneto as a child, as well as Morgan Lily who will play a young Raven.

They join other mutants James McAvoy as Charles Xavier/Professor X, Michael Fassbender as Erik Lehnsherr/ Magneto, Nicholas Hoult as the Beast, Edi Gathegi as Darwin, Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, Caleb Landry Jones as Banshee, and Lucas Till as Havoc. Rose Byrne will portray Moira MacTaggert,   Charles Xavier’s love interest. Kevin bacon is the still as yet unnamed villain of the film, and Oliver Platt is playing a character only known as The Man in Black.

Director Matthew Vaughn will be working from a script by his Kick-Ass co-writer Jane Goldman.  Production begins in London on August 23. X-Men: First Class is scheduled for release June 3, 2011.
