Torchwood’s fourth season is a joint collaboration between BBC and Starz and from what is being shown in this new trailer, everything about the show is now bigger and stakes are even higher.
Torchwood: Miracle Day begins on a day when nobody dies. Nobody. Across the earth, not a living being passes away, which isn’t exactly a good.
“It’s great news for some people, but globally it’s an instant population boom,” said series creator Russell T. Davies. “Earth relies on people dying. Suddenly you’re affecting everyone on the planet. That’s where the Torchwood team comes in.”
Mekhi Phifer of ER and Bill Pullman from such hits as Independence Day and Twister join series stars John Barowman (Captain Jack Harkness) and Eve Myles (Gwen Cooper) in the new season, which looks to be action packed.
