Premier Pop C Pop Culture News – Movies, Comics, Television, Books, Toys, Games, and More STARZ has just sent a press release with a very impressive list of special guest stars for their upcoming series, Torchwood: Miracle Day starring John Barrowman, Eve Myles, Kai Owen, Mekhi Phifer, Bill Pulman and Alexa Havens.
Joining the cast of Torchwood in the 10 episode series as special guests are: Wayne Knight (“Seinfeld,” Jurassic Park), C. Thomas Howell (“Southland,” The Outsiders), Ernie Hudson (“OZ,” Ghostbusters), Nana Visitor (“Star Trek: Deep Space Nine”), John DeLancie (“Star Trek: The Next Generation”), Mare Winningham (Mildred Pierce, George Wallace) and Frances Fisher (Titanic, The Lincoln Lawyer).
Wow. Talk about impressive. It reads like a blockbuster sci-fi extravaganza.
Also added to the mix is this hot off the presses, first look at John Barrowman as Captain Jack Harkness in his new coat for this series.
Taking into consideration that the weather in Los Angeles is a lot less severe than Cardiff in Wales, his traditional wool coat has been redesigned for a better fit, more movement and breathability (we wouldn’t want our Captain jack to get all sweaty… would we?).
Torchwood: Miracle Day is a collaboration form STARZ and BBC. It premieres on July 8 at 10 pm on STARZ.
