Premier Pop C Pop Culture News – Movies, Comics, Television, Books, Toys, Games, and More With a year to go before this film hits the screens, Warner Brothers wants to start tempting the bat-faithful with a teaser for the third installment of the rebooted Batman franchise, The Dark Knight Rises.
Not much of the film is revealed in the teaser, it does show a super terrifying glimpse at Batman’s big bad baddie this time around, the character of Bane (played by Tom Hardy) and a bed ridden Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman).
The Dark Knight Rises flies into theaters on July 20, 2012.
Those of out there who saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 this weekend (which is probably everyone), this is the same teaser you saw before harry’s Potters huge finale.
