Starz’ Torchwood Eyes a Summer Debut, Gets Notable Crew

The US edition of Torchwood had added loads of backstage talent with experience in genre TV, according to the Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed.

The new behind-the-scenes crew includes Kelly Manners on as a producer, who worked on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Along with Manners, are Todd McIntosh (also from Buffy) in Makeup,  Bharat Nalluri (Life on Mars, UK version) as a Director, Nathaniel Goodman on as Lead DP (Heroes),  as well as a trio of folks from the Walking Dead:  Gregory Melton is on as Production Designer, Hunter M Via as Film Editor and Skip Schoolik (also from Angel) in as a Post production Producer.

Torchwood: The New World begin begins production on the highly anticipated show for Starz next month.  Although no release date has been announced,  there is talk that we’ll see Captain Jack and company on Starz next July.
