Scholastic To Publish BONE Tribute Edition

BoneScholastic, the global children’s publishing, education and media company, will publish BONE #1: Out from Boneville, The Tribute Edition on February 24, 2015. This special edition of the first book in Jeff Smith’s award-winning and bestselling graphic novel series will kick off the 10th anniversary celebration of the Scholastic Graphix imprint in 2015. The Graphix imprint launched in 2005 with the color edition of BONE #1: Out from Boneville by Jeff Smith. Aimed at readers ages 8 to 12, and to be published simultaneously in the United States and Canada, the full-color special edition will contain a brand-new illustrated poem from creator Jeff Smith plus original BONE tribute art from sixteen additional top artists in the form of mini-comics and full-page artwork. The contributors include major artists working in comics and illustration today, such as Kate Beaton, Jeffrey Brown, Kazu Kibuishi, Dav Pilkey, Raina Telgemeier, andCraig Thompson.
