Mia Kirshner And Fionnula Flanagan Join ‘Defiance’

Mia Kirshner (The Vampire Diaries, The L Word) and Fionnula Flanagan (Lost) have joined the cast of Syfy’s new drama series Defiance. Set on a future Earth inhabited by survivors of a universal war, the show centers on Jeb Nolan (Grant Bowler), the law-keeper in the frontier boomtown Defia.

Kirshner will play Kenya, the town madam. Flanagan has been cast as Nicky, the popular ex-mayor of the town.
