One kid. All kinds of hero. That’s our Ben Tennyson, and he’s coming to Cartoon Network in an all-new series, Ben 10 Omniverse, with a global launch like no other. For the first time in its history, Cartoon Network territories covering over 178 countries and 27 languages will premiere a series closely together with a coordinated global campaign that begins in the United States on Saturday, September 22 at 9 a.m. (ET/PT).
In Ben 10 Omniverse, beating the bad guys is just part of the superhero gig. With a little help from his new, by-the-book partner, Rook, Ben explores the quirkier side of things in the alien underground and discovers enemies from his past looking for a rematch, all while a mysterious hunter is hot on his trail. With new aliens at his disposal and a brand new lease on life, Ben 10 is back and more fun than ever.Ben 10 Omniverse is the latest original series from Cartoon Network Studios. Ben is traveling the globe and crossing platforms to give kids a full digital experience. With more than 1.4 billion games played and 7.2 million games created, Ben 10 Game Creator has been one of CartoonNetwork.com’s top ten games since launching in 2008. Now it’s getting a refresh to match the unique character design of Ben 10 Omniverse, with new versions of favorite aliens and brand-newOmniverse aliens to play with. CartoonNetwork.com will also host a Ben 10 blog, keeping kids up-to-date with the latest Ben 10 news. These digital elements and more can be found on CartoonNetwork.com’s new Ben 10 Hub, a destination for all things Ben 10 from the original series to Ben 10 Omniverse. Additionally, fans are invited to download the first episode for free on iTunes, Amazon, Playstation, Xbox and iNdemand through Sept. 28th.
Coinciding with the global premiere of this new-look series will be brand-new, must-have items from the top-selling Ben 10 consumer products franchise. Making a worldwide debut this fall will be new Ben 10 Omniverse toys from master toy partner Bandai, an interactive game from D3Publisher and apparel from Freeze. Additional licensing partners for the brand will follow with new products in 2013, all adding to the more than $3 billion generated at retail worldwide to date since its launch in 2006.
