The Story starts after the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, Marvel’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn.
Even as the movie is yet to hit the screens on its regular showing, Captain America 3 is already planned to be released by 2016. That is how much the producers are so sure of a box office success when Captain America is seen defending the earth in April 3 across GCC.
To give fans a little trivia, did you know that Chris Evans, playing Captain America who also played the same role in “The First Avenger”, originally declined the role three times before signing a six-picture deal with Marvel and before donning his Captain America costume back in 2011? He said, “I can’t believe I was almost too chicken to play Captain America.” Now, with a promise of another blockbuster, who says “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is anything but terrific?
As the star-spangled hero graces the silver screens again April 3, 2014, theaters are expected to be jam-packed by fans.
