If we’re lucky, we’ll all get a glimpse inside the “company” that manufactured many of Wile E. Coyote’s twisted implements of doom… which all seemed to blow up in his face. According to The Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision blog, writers Kevin and Dan Hageman have sold an original pitch to the home of Looney Tunes, Warner Brothers, to develop a live-action/CG film based on the ACME Warehouse.
According to the article at Heat Vision, the project will feature many of ACME’s more outlandish items, and will similar in tone to a Men In Black style movie. Unfortunately, it looks like that Bugs, Wile E. and the rest of the Looney Tunes gang will not be featured in the film.
Warner brothers producers Dan Lin and Roy Lee are hoping to build a brand new franchise from the concept. Warner executive Jon Berg will oversee the project, with Lin Pictures’ Mark Bauch co-producing.
