The action sequel ‘The Expendables 2″ took the top spot of a lackluster weekend. New films did not live up to expectations, with all of them failing to enter the top 5. The only stand out among new releases was “2016: Obama’s America,” which grossed a stellar $6.3 million as it expanded nationwide over the weekend. The anti-Obama film took the sixth spot at the box office and became the top grossing documentary of the year.
