PowersWho Killed Retro Girl? On May 31, season 2 of POWERS, the PlayStation original series from Sony Pictures Television, premieres on PlayStation Network in the United States and Canada. Co-created by acclaimed Marvel writer Brian Michael Bendis and helmed by showrunner and respected genre writer Remi Aubuchon (Falling Skies), POWERS is the first scripted television series to air on PlayStation Network.

The first three episodes of the season will be available at 12:01 PM PT, with subsequent episodes releasing each week. The 10-episode season will be available for free* to PlayStation Plus members.

“I’m insanely thrilled with the opportunity to introduce season 2 on PlayStation Network,” said Brian Michael Bendis, executive producer of PlayStation original series POWERS, and co-creator of the comic book series.

Season 2 features a stellar cast, starring Sharlto Copley (District 9) as Detective Christian Walker and Susan Heyward (Vinyl) as Detective Deena Pilgrim. Several new faces will also make their POWERS debut, including Michael Madsen (The Hateful Eight), Tricia Helfer(Battlestar Galactica), Enrico Colantoni (Veronica Mars) and Wil Wheaton (The Big Bang Theory), alongside the returning favorites Olesya Rulin (High School Musical), Justice Leak(Supergirl), Logan Browning (Hit The Floor), and Michelle Forbes (Orphan Black).

“The new season tells the story of Detective Christian Walker’s obsession with solving the murder of beloved hero, Retro Girl, with the help of his partner Deena Pilgrim. We focused on what fans loved about season 1 and amped up the visual effects, cinematography, and stunts so season 2 is going to be louder, faster and more electrifying than anything you’ve seen from us before!” continued Bendis.
