Premier Pop C Pop Culture News – Movies, Comics, Television, Books, Toys, Games, and More Fox announced that it is sending Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane back to the stone age. He will be updating the classic cartoon “The Flintstones” for a 2013 revival.
MacFarlane stated that much of the show would remain the same, although some uodates would be made. He posed the question, “What is the animal version of an iPod?”
It remains to be seen if viewers will accept MacFarlane brand of humor in the classic cartoon or if it will fail as miserably as Ren and Stimpy creator John Kricfalusi’s update of Yogi Bear in the late 1990s.
