The fifth installment in Universal’s “The Fast and The Furious” franchise showed why the film series is still going strong. “Fast Five” raced to an $83.6 million opening at the domestic box office, following up an international gross of $45.3 million for the weekend, bringing its international total to $165 million. The fast=paced open made the film the top April opener of all time.
