Premier Pop C Pop Culture News – Movies, Comics, Television, Books, Toys, Games, and More Warner Bros. Consumer Products will team up with “Green Lantern” global licensees at Toy Fair next month to support the film’s upcoming theatrical release on June 17.
Master toy licensee Mattel will debut its multi-category toy line, which includes action figures, vehicles, role-playing games, play sets, games and puzzles. Each basic action figure will include a Green Lantern ring for kids to wear.
The line will include the Green Lantern Colossal Cannon. According to Warner Bros., “Kids can become their hero, Green Lantern, by slipping on the movie-inspired Colossal Cannon for the ultimate battle experience. With a rotating Gatling style barrel, easy grip handle and a 10-shot capacity of Power Discs — evil villains be forewarned! When the projectile discs are fired the hand cannon’s built in ’ring’ lights up, emitting blaster sounds. When switched to rapid fire or single shot mode, the cannon provides maximum force against aliens and intruders.”
Another item that Warner has previewed is the Green Lantern Deluxe Battle Shifters Figures. The figures feature Hal Jordan, Sinestro, Tomar-Re and Kilowog, each with a fold-up Power Slinger accessory.
