The Ridiculous ‘Sharknado’ Casts A Sequel

SharknadoCasting director Mike Fenton, together with partner Ann Frederick, have struck a deal with The Asylum to cast Sharknado 2: The Second One, set to film in New York City. Fenton’s long and storied career includes casting credits on The Godfather: Part II, One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest, Back To The Future, and Raiders Of The Lost Ark.

Mike Fenton and Ann Frederick are currently looking to cast A-list talent, from film actors to Broadway stars to music celebrities to television hosts, in a wide range of cameo roles.

The sequel to 2013’s summer TV smash will reunite the creative team from the original, headed by director Anthony Ferrante.  Sharknado 2: The Second One will air on Syfy in July 2014.
