13 Goes Wilde for Cowboys and Aliens

Olivia Wilde is in negotiations to co-star alongside Daniel Craig in Jon Favreau’s Cowboys and Aliens.  Daniel Craig is now confirmed as Zeke Jackson in the film, and was signed after Robert Downey Jr. had to opt out due to scheduling conflicts.

Wilde is best known for her role as Dr. Remy Hadley (better known as “13”) on TV’s House and will be seen on the big screen this summer in Tron: Legacy and also in The Next Three Days with Russell Crowe.  She will be playing a cowgirl named Ella in the wild west, who joins up with Daniel Craig’s gunslinger to save the world from an alien invasion.

If all goes well and Favreau can put the finishing touches on Iron Man 2 quickly, shooting will start this June with a summer 2011 release date.
