Vampirella & Dracula’s Rivalry Available As NFT

Vampi vs Dracula NFT

Did you know Vampirella and Dracula actually got married? Yes, the two famous vampires from quite different backgrounds tied the knot in legendary writer Christopher Priest’s tenure, which has played out recently in the Vampirella/Dracula: Unholy series, also available in NFT form via Virtua. Yet long before that fateful pairing, the two have often shared a contentious relationship as foes and rivals as vampires in the world of man. Dynamite’s fan-favorite 2012 series Vampirella vs. Dracula depicts one of those previous entanglements, and the full story is available now in the innovative NFT comic collectible format.

In 1997 for the centennial of the original Dracula novel by Bram Stoker, a special comic co-starring Vampirella was released. The standout story therein was “The New European” by the incomparable Alan Moore (Watchmen, V for Vendetta) and artist Gary Frank (Superman, Doomsday Clock). It brings the Dracula tale to the present as a brilliant condensed snapshot of the story. Then in 2012, writer Joe Harris and artist Ivan Rodriguez teamed up for a Vampirella starring follow up to that legendary short. Dracula has come to the United States to play out his usual schemes. Only problem is he didn’t realize another vampire has already beat him to it. Drawn across continents and centuries, Vampirella and Dracula are sucked into a time-tossed epic of love, hate, death, and damnation. Now readers can check it out in full in NFT form!
