Tonner Doll Extends Twilight License

TwilightTonner Doll Company has extended its license with Summit Entertainment for The Twilight Saga in order to create figures from the most recent installment of the movie series, “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1.” Tonner has produced 2 more dolls to complete their Twilight Saga Collection: Forever Edward and Forever Bella in their memorable wedding attire. They were released early this fall and are currently available for pre-order.

Robert Tonner, CEO and celebrated doll artist and sculptor, said, “To prepare for the final film in ‘The Twilight Saga,’ we just couldn’t, in good conscience, end the collection without completing it with a few pieces from the culmination of the movie series.”

The Twilight Saga film series stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson and tells the story of 17-year-old Bella Swan who moves to the small town of Forks, Washington to live with her father and becomes drawn to Edward Cullen, a pale, mysterious classmate who seems determined to push her away. But neither can deny the attraction that pulls them together…even when Edward confides that he and his family are vampires.

Tonner’s 16″ Forever Bella will feature an authorized likeness of Kristen Stewart as Bella and will come dressed in her bridal ensemble from “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1.” She arrives with rooted brown Saran hair and painted brown eyes. Her romantic wedding gown is a replica from the film, featuring white satin decorated with delicate lace appliqués on the sleeves and the alluring lace-and-net- back adorned with faux pearl buttons. She also comes with a white tulle veil with jeweled hair ornament, bridal bouquet, white satin shoes, engagement ring, and painted wedding band.

17″ Forever Edward features an authorized likeness of Robert Pattinson as Edward, with rooted brown Saran hair and painted light brown eyes. Forever Edward will arrive dressed in his groom’s attire: a black tux adorned with a white boutonnière and white pocket square with white vest and bow-tie. His ensemble is complete with black molded shoes and painted wedding band.

Each collectible figure will have multiple points of articulation and hand-painted facial detailing. With Tonner’s rigorous standards for quality, these collectibles will be a must-have for any Twilight Saga fan and collector.

Tonner began The Twilight Saga Collection in 2009 with the release of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan. Both were received very well and sold out quickly. That same year, Tonner offered an ultra-limited-edition Hungry Edward as a San Diego Comic Con exclusive, which also found great success with collectors. Over the past 3 years, Tonner has offered several characters from the films, including Jacob Black, James, Laurent, Victoria, Alice, Jasper, and Jane, in addition to several versions of Bella and Edward.

“I’m a huge fan of ‘The Twilight Saga’ films, and I read all of the books in the series, too. I wound up completely immersed in their world, and it made creating each doll that much more fun,” says Tonner. “It will really be kind of sad to say goodbye to this collection, but it will be a grand farewell and a proper send off.”
