Hunger GamesTonner Doll Company, an award-winning designer and manufacturer of high-end collectible dolls and figures, has been granted the license for character figures based on the film The Hunger Games, which arrived in theaters nation-wide on March 23, 2012.

Sculpted in the likenesses of the film’s lead characters – Katniss Everdeen (as portrayed by Jennifer Lawrence), Peeta Mellark (as portrayed by Josh Hutcherson) and Gale Hawthorne (as portrayed by Liam Hemsworth), the TONNER CHARACTER FIGURE™ (TCF) dolls are fully-authorized and highly-collectible.

Robert Tonner, CEO and acclaimed doll artist, will be overseeing the creation of the unique figures, which will be made to a ¼ scale. With authentic costuming based on actual costume samples from the film that were provided by the production, no detail will be overlooked, and the dolls will be sure to satisfy even the most attentive fans.

Based on Suzanne Collins’ best-selling book series with 36.5 million copies currently in print, The Hunger Games has not only captured the hearts of people everywhere, but also became a box office sensation, with the the third largest domestic opening weekend in box office history.

Tonner Doll has found great success with cinema-inspired dolls and figures, and their repertoire has included the likes of Harry Potter, Twilight, Pirates of the Caribbean and Gone with the Wind, to name just a few.
