‘Thor’ Thunders Past Competition For Second Week

The box office had a strong weekend, with both “Bridesmaids” and “Priest” outperforming expectations. “Bridesmaids” brought in $24.4 million to take second place while “Priest” earned $14.5 million taking the number four spot. Neither of these strong performers could catch “Thor,” which repeated at the top spot. “Thor” earned $34.5 million over the weekend, bringing its total to $119.3 million.
