TBS is mounting a tribute to Team Coco fans who express their love for Conan O’Brien in a unique way. COCO-MoCA Presents: The Fine Art of The Flaming C, a special exhibit of fan art, will open in an art gallery down the street from the San Diego Convention Center to coincide with this year’s Comic-Con. The exhibit – a celebration of The Flaming C, Conan O’Brien’s superhero alter ego created in conjunction with Warner Bros. Animation – will feature more than 60 specially selected pieces of artwork created by CONAN fans from all over the world.
Located at 363 Fifth Ave., Suite 102, in San Diego, The Fine Art of The Flaming C gallery will be open Thursday, July 21 – Saturday, July 23, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, July 24, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
In addition to the works of fan art, the COCO-MoCA will have many special features, including:
- A LEGO® statue of The Flaming C created by artist Nathan Sawaya
- A green-screen experience allowing fans to put themselves in a photo with The Flaming C and share the images through social media
- A paint-by-numbers collective art piece which will be completed by gallery visitors
Everyone who visits the exhibit will receive a poster of The Flaming C (while supplies last). Gallery visitors are also eligible to win limited-edition t-shirts and many other prizes (while supplies last). In addition, fans who check-in via Foursquare will receive a limited-edition pin and will be registered for a chance to win a trip for two to Los Angeles to see a taping of CONAN.
