Steven Spielberg’s big-budget time travel drama, Terra Nova, will air a sneak peek in May 2011. The series isn’t scheduled to start until the fall.
The two-hour episode will introduce viewers to the show, which chronicles a family living on the nearly-destroyed Earth in 2149. They travel back to prehistoric times to try to save the planet by curbing scientific experimentation and out-of-control population growth.
Spielberg is an executive producer. Each hourlong episode reportedly costs $4 million, according to the Post.
