Comics CircleComics Circle Apps Pvt Ltd, a venture of Winjit Technologies, today formally announced the first everIndia  s Comics & Graphic Novels only platform – Comics Circle. It is a storefront to showcase & sell content only from Indian publishers.

The Indian Comics community is small, yet sizeable but needs to be closely knit however lacks a platform to showcase the amazing work done by veterans & youngsters alike.

A dedicated platform means the Comics lovers can keep coming back to it, without being hindered by content irrelevant to them. This also becomes a vehicle for Indian Comics to go to audiences worldwide. Creators with even a single publication can showcase their product here.

Comics Circle have already signed up Campfire , Holy Cow , Manta Ray , Champak from the Delhi Press , Jazyl , Orange Radius , Chariot Comics , Vanayu , YashRaj Comics and are closing formalities with ACK media.

The new age creativity & content of the publishers is tremendous. It not only entertains but tackles relevant issues using art as a medium. Comics Circle aims to initiate interactive platform between peers and readers so that the community grows and becomes stronger.

The app sorts content basis genres and publishers. Every content has 3 preview pages and complete information on the publisher, creator, art, writer, and illustrator that allows users to rank the content. The user can also write to a publisher with feedback about a particular comic.

Comics Circle will release BoxView technology as part of its first update, where all comics can be read pane by pane in a chronological order. The platform also has pencil and eraser tools. People love to scribble and make notes on their comics and the generation today should not be deprived of that joy, was the thinking behind enabling this. Also, publications which have interactive and Q & A’s, quizzes, maze puzzles which are irrelevant otherwise in a digital format. The annotation tool allows for these to be enjoyed as well.

The App is currently available for free download on iPads.
