Script Underway For Third Sherlock Holmes Movie

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadowsdoesn’t open until December 16, but Warner Bros. is already planning the next installment of the period detective adventure movies. The studio has hired Drew Pearce, the creator of the British superhero TV satireNo Heroics, to pen a script for what would be the third Robert Downey Jr.-Jude Law movie starring the Sherlock Holmes creation.

Pearce is writing Iron Man 3 for Marvel Studios and Paramount’s adaptation of DC Comics’ The Mighty.
