The box office took a sharp drop this week, allowing “Possession” to repeat in the top spot. While the first weekend after Labor Day is traditionally weak, this year dropped more than once. The one surprising bright spot was the Anti-Barack Obama documentary “2016: Obama’s America” brought its total to $26 million to become the No. 2 political doc of all time.
